If you've ever bought furniture at an Arkansas furniture retailer, chances are good that store is a member of the Arkansas Homefurnishings Association.  With a top-secret member list, the association boasts over 500 retail and associate members in the state.  But what exactly does the association do?

A lot, actually. For about 80 years, the Arkansas Homefurnishings Association has provided its members with state and federal lobbying, serving as a watchdog to protect against unfair taxation and legislation; education for home furnishing retail store executives and employees, consultation on any business problems; savings on dental insurance and a chance to exchange home furnishing retail experience and information among members.  AHA members can also benefit through private label financing of accounts receivable and credit insurance.
